Telehealth Services
Springfield Behavioral Health of New Jersey is pleased to offer Teletherapy services for both new and existing patients from the comfort of their own home. Currently, Telehealth services are covered by ALL commercial insurances and Medicare.
The benefits of Telehealth services are many, such as:
- No transportation time or costs
- Reduced need for child or eldercare
- No need to take time off from work
- Wait time for an appointment can be shorter
- Services can be received at home, work, or in your car
- Less exposure to physical illnesses which can lead to greater peace of mind
Our Teletherapy services use HIPAA compliant information and communication technology, including the use of electronic health records (EHRs). Secure mobile technology is used to deliver behavioral health services online via your smartphone (iPhone/Android), iPad, tablet, laptop or desktop.
Please Note: Telehealth services are not a perfect fit for everyone or for every behavioral health condition. Make sure you discuss the appropriateness, advantages, and disadvantages with your clinical services provider to be sure you receive the most effective treatment.
